MILKSHAKE! LIVE MY FIRST CONCERT

National Theatre Tour, 28 June to 30 August 2008

What do Rupert Bear, Peppa Pig, Little Princess, Fifi Forget-Me-Not, Mr. Bump and Noddy all have in common? They’re all packing their suitcases and taking to the road to visit 15 venues across the country on a national theatre tour! 60 performances packed full of singing, dancing and fun this summer.

For the first ever national theatre tour the hugely popular characters from Five’s Milkshake! are coming together for a sing-along spectacular! The show features new songs, classic favourites and funky dance moves. It’s a fantastic family-friendly introduction to music and theatre for toe-tapping toddlers.

Children’s favourites Fifi and Bumble from Fifi and the Flowertots, Peppa and George from Peppa Pig, Noddy and Tessie Bear from Make Way for Noddy, Mr. Bump and Little Miss Daredevil from The Mr. Men Show, Rupert Bear and Little Princess will be joining forces to enchant children in theatres around the country. The shows will be hosted by Milkshake’s presenters - Naomi Wilkinson, Kemi Majeks, Beth Evans, Jen Pringle and Derek Moran – who’ll be encouraging children (and their parents) to sing, join in and learn fun new dance moves like jumping to the Milkshake! Shake!

The Milkshake! Live tour will bring much-loved TV characters to life for their young fans. There’s Fifi Forget-Me-Not, a cheerful Flowertot with a habit of always forgetting things, and her happy and loyal companion Bumble; Cheeky Peppa Pig and her dinosaur-mad little brother George; Little Princess - full of energy and charm with an irrepressible curiosity about how the world works;
Pre-school superstar Noddy with his best friend Tessie Bear; Accident-prone Mr. Bump and Little Miss Daredevil and the ever-popular Rupert Bear!

Running daily on Five, from 6am to 9am Monday to Friday, 7am to 10am on Saturdays and 6am to 10am on Sundays Milkshake! has a legion of young fans. They tune in to watch the most popular programmes in pre-school entertainment, enter competitions, join in with songs and dances – and to hear their birthdays celebrated live on TV!

Running time: Approx 2 x 40 mins plus interval
