We were lucky enough to visit the beautiful campsite at Berny Rivière just outside Paris, France.

This wonderful campsite is surrounded by trees with a lake being the main focus for fishing, canoeing and activities around the lake.

We visited with our two children, Henry age 7 and Faith age 4 1/2 and were pleasantly surprised how wonderfully clean and tidy the park was, and how fabulous the accommodation was.

We stayed in one of the new Luxury Lodges which have all the amenities you could want to make your holiday seem like home.

The lodges are situated next to the lake, so the kids could watch people fishing, while also watching ducks and swans come past our doors.

The kids clubs were excellent, with the clubs running 6 days a week, one session in the morning and another in the evening, thus giving us parents a chance to unwind.

The park has its own beach, which my Daughter loved, and a hard court football pitch with my Son loved.

This site also has a playground which the kids loved.

The restaurant was wonderful, with the waiters all speaking English, and my kids were amazed to see people with a bowl of snails !

The bar and sun terrace overlooks the brilliant pool complex with a superb heated indoor pool, outdoor pools and waterslides.
