AWARD-WINNING CARRIER WINS ACCOLADE FROM LEADING OSTEOPATH

Set to achieve total sales of over 100,000 in 2008, the award-winning
Hippychick Hipseat has recently been approved by leading osteopath, Stuart Korth.
Its unique design combats one of the most common causes of adult back pain and
as a result, it has been endorsed and recommended by dozens of osteopaths,
chiropractors and back professionals.
Stuart Korth says: “Throughout my career, I’ve seen patients suffering – often
years down the line – from back problems caused by carrying their children

The Hipseat is the only infant carrier to provide a safe and back-friendly
solution for transporting babies and toddlers when they are too young to walk
long distances but too heavy for a traditional carrier or sling. In fact, it’s
so comfortable that it can be worn all day, with the child easily carried on the
integral padded foam shelf.
Instead of twisting the spine, the back remains straight and the child is tucked
into the chest on whichever side is more comfortable for the wearer. Fully
tested by the British Standards Institute, it works by providing a firm seat for
a child to sit on, instantly making them lighter for their parent by supporting
their increasingly heavy weight from underneath. A one-clip safety lock holds
the Hipseat ‘belt’ in place.
