GET INTO THE SWING OF THINGS THIS HALF TERM, WITH FREE GOLF FOR KIDS FROM GLENDALE GOLF!
To make the most of the week off be sure to head down to your local Glendale Golf course where FREE golf sessions will be available to all children across the UK aged between 6-16 years for one week from 27th May 2008. Glendale Golf’s Tiger Days are the perfect way to celebrate no lessons or homework, while getting outdoors and having fun! The one-day event at each course will offer a series of free golf taster sessions to get kids started, with Glendale Golf PGA pros on hand giving their top tips and lending their expertise. The golf sessions will take place at each course over one day between 10am and 2pm with five children allocated to each age category (6-9 yrs/10-13 yrs/14-16 yrs) every 30 minutes. There is further fun to be had throughout the day, with games and activities including face painting, bouncy castles and more golf practice sessions – you’ll never want to go back to school!
They will also receive unlimited free golf and use of the practice areas at their local Glendale Golf-managed course for one year. All children taking part in the Tiger Days will also receive a certificate of participation, courtesy of Glendale Golf. Last year’s Richmond Park Golf Course winner, Luke Dunn, aged 11, said: “I have had so much fun leaning to play golf this year and golf is definitely a sport I will continue to play regularly. It has been so valuable having an instructor advise me and help me improve as a player.
